I am having such a good time gardening these days. The frost is slowing letting go of my soil, and I can do one more border each weekend. But it is still cold out, so here is a suggestion for some nice gardening clothes 🙂

Day 2 North Downs Way

So this is the first actual day on the route. The weather is sooo hot, almost to hot carrying a heavy Rugsack with 10 kilo in it!
We need to bring more water day 3!

We walket up to Reigate Hill and it really was a climb. All wet and thursty when we got up on the top. We wandered around in the Reighate Fort before we started on the route.

The white chalk under our feet is lovely. Its a bit dry as it hasent rained for a week or two! But its so uplifting rather than dark mud!

We walked up to Box Hill and enjoyed the fantastic view!

We also shared a mug of Pimms and loved it! Sweet yet soo fresh! I have to reseach how to make it, and try it at home as well!

The Box Hill really contained a lot of big big Box bushes, is that why its called Box Hill? Hmmm have to do a lot of googeling when I get home!

We ended our day at the nice Bauford Bridge Hotel. They have a lovely garden with a pool. Good service and good food. I unwillingly fell to sleep way to early 🙂
